John Smith is Making a New Record

We are thrilled to share the news that John Smith has been in the studio this week, creating his next record. Here is a note from John as he embarks on this new chapter…

It’s been a hell of a year. A rolling carousel of life & loss in wild technicolour. My family and I have weathered storms we hadn’t ever anticipated. I know it’s been the same for so many people. I’ve taken comfort in the small things. In the goodness of the people around me. In the playing of music. All of it has led me to the songs in this folder. Today I’m packing up my guitars and driving down to Real World Studios, where I’ll hide away for the next seven days & nights to make a new record. It kind of feels like my first time.
